Biography
Kevin Brasky serves as the Treasurer of the Joliet Township Republican Organization, bringing two years of involvement with JTRO and a strong background in public service, law enforcement, and blue‑collar leadership. A lifelong resident of the Joliet area, Kevin grew up in Elwood and moved to Joliet in 2018 after purchasing his first home, where he and his wife are now raising their three children.
Kevin proudly served seven years in local law enforcement and is a veteran of the Illinois Army National Guard. With more than 20 years of experience in the rail industry, he is known for his integrity, discipline, and common‑sense approach to problem‑solving. His commitment to community safety, fiscal responsibility, and traditional American values drives his work within JTRO.
As a father, Kevin became increasingly concerned with the direction of the state and the impact on families, children, and future generations. His desire to help build a safer, stronger, and more values‑driven community motivated him to step into Republican leadership and serve as a voice for local conservatives.

Kevin believes that for too long, Democrats have maintained a strong hold over Joliet Township, leaving many Republicans feeling unheard and disenfranchised. He believes JTRO can serve as a beacon of hope for local Republicans who have long felt unheard, inspiring them to stand up for their values and work together to bring positive change to the community.
Background & Local Roots
Kevin grew up in Elwood, just south of Joliet, and moved to Joliet in 2018 after purchasing his first home. He and his wife are raising their three children in the community they love and are proud to call home.

Kevin is a passionate NASCAR fan and cheers for Kyle Busch every Sunday. He enjoys working on his lawn, playing guitar, watching WWE, following football, and smoking meat on the smoker. A history enthusiast, he often spends his free time reading or watching documentaries about America’s past.
