Diane M. Harris
Secretary – Joliet Township Republican Organization
Biography
Diane M. Harris serves as the Secretary of the Joliet Township Republican Organization, bringing more than 15 years of dedicated service to JTRO and a lifetime of commitment to the Joliet community. A lifelong Joliet resident, Diane has been a strong and consistent voice for conservative values, community engagement, and responsible leadership.
Diane retired from ComEd after 32 years as a Liability Representative and has built a diverse professional background that includes business ownership and public service. She previously owned “It Is Amazing Dress Boutique” and currently owns and operates “It Is Amazing Financial,” where she is commissioned by the State of Illinois as a mobile notary. She is an active member of the Joliet Chamber of Commerce and serves as an elected Trustee for Joliet Junior College and Committeeman for Joliet Precinct 23. Since 2016, she has also served as a Trustee of the Joliet Public Library, where she currently holds the position of Treasurer.
Diane became involved in Republican leadership because she saw conservative values going unrepresented locally. Her advocacy began when common core curriculum changes were slowing down high‑achieving students — a moment that inspired her to speak up. She continues to champion freedom, opportunity, and prosperity for all people.
