Biography

Darrell Robert Boisdorf previously served as Chairman of the Joliet Township Republican Organization. In July 2026, Darrell resigned from his role to step back from politics at this time so he can devote more time to his family.

Before stepping down, Darrell was in his first year as Chair and his third year of involvement with JTRO. During his tenure, he focused on strengthening conservative leadership and ensuring that local government remained accountable, transparent, and responsive to the needs of residents.

Darrell became involved in local Republican leadership because he believes that more citizens must step forward and take an active role in shaping the future of their communities. He is motivated by a desire to make positive change for Joliet Township, Will County, and the State of Illinois — and to help secure a better future for the next generation.

He serves with integrity and a strong focus on the issues that matter most to families and taxpayers, emphasizing responsible governance and community well‑being.

Background & Local Roots

Born at St. Joseph Hospital in 1986, Darrell spent most of his early life in Crest Hill. He moved to Chicago in 2015 to attend law school and later relocated to Channahon in 2020 during the COVID‑19 pandemic. In 2023, he purchased his first home in Joliet, where he proudly resides today.
