Biography

Darrell Robert Boisdorf serves as the Chairman of the Joliet Township Republican Organization. Now in his first year as Chair and his third year of involvement with JTRO, Darrell is committed to strengthening conservative leadership and ensuring that local government remains accountable, transparent, and responsive to the needs of residents.

Darrell became involved in local Republican leadership because he believes that more citizens must step forward and take an active role in shaping the future of their communities. He is motivated by a desire to make positive change for Joliet Township, Will County, and the State of Illinois — and to help secure a better future for the next generation.

He serves with integrity and a strong focus on the issues that matter most to families and taxpayers, emphasizing responsible governance and community well‑being.

Darrell’s vision is for the Joliet Township Republican Organization to be the leading voice for principled, effective, and responsive conservative leadership. He is committed to building a stronger, safer, and more prosperous community by championing fiscal responsibility, promoting transparency in government, and advancing policies that put residents first.

Background & Local Roots

Born at St. Joseph Hospital in 1986, Darrell spent most of his early life in Crest Hill. He moved to Chicago in 2015 to attend law school and later relocated to Channahon in 2020 during the COVID‑19 pandemic. In 2023, he purchased his first home in Joliet, where he proudly resides today.

Personal Interests

Outside of his civic work, Darrell is an avid long‑distance runner and has completed eight marathons to date.
